Thanks for joining me! A little background on me. I’m 33 years old married to the love of my life for 8 years already 😲🥰. I have two boys, a 4 year old and 9 month old. I have been in the United States Army for 13 years.
The Army recently came out with a new physical test called the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT). This new test has six events instead of three. The new events are the Maximum Deadlift (MDL), Standing Power Throw (SPT), Hand-Release Push-Up (HRP), Sprint-Drag-Carry (SDC), Leg Tuck (LTK), and the 2-Mile Run (2MR). To give you some insight the old physical fitness test had three events.
Now we get to the reason I started this blog. I’m by no means a fitness buff or gym rat. It is safe to assume that this new test will be difficult to me. I have already taken a diagnostic once and did okay not good but just okay. I will use this blog to document my journey. So I welcome all of you. I hope you get something out of this blog.
